Event 1
Participation: The event involved 75 citizens, including 10 participants from the city of Deryneia (Cyprus), 10 participants from the city of Vignanello (Italy), 9 participants from the city of Soriano nel Cimino (Italy), 8 participants from the city of Canepina (Italy), 8 participants from the city of Gallese (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Il-Birgu (Malta), 2 participants from the city of Agia (Greece), 2 participants from the city of Jablonna (Poland), 2 participants from the city of Onga (Hungary), 2 participants from the city of Kelme (Lithuania), 2 participants from the city of San Cristovo de Cea (Spain), 2 participants from the city of Dobsice (Czech Republic), 2 participants from the city of Vila Nova de Cerveira (Portugal), 2 participants from the PAR Institute Rjeka (Croatia), 2 participants from the city of Irig (Serbia), 2 participants from the city of Shijak (Albania), 2 participants from the AEKS Association (Finland), 2 participants from the city of Razlog (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Novo Mesto (Slovenia), 2 participants from the city of Laragne-Monteglin (France).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Vignanello (Vignanello, Italy), from 01/11/2018 to 05/11/2018 Short description: The aim of the event was to introduce the partnership and set a positive and cooperative environment, as well as to present WIVAS project and the goals to be reached. During the event local communities and citizens’ representatives had the opportunities to share point of views on the project and on the EU, as well as to present their towns and organizations to a wide public. Informal approaches helped boosting democratic and civic participation at local and EU level and the direct participation of the delegation in the Oil&Wine Festival in
Vignanello allowed them to integrate in the local communities and the project to be disseminated and acknowledged at regional level. The implementation of activities in the 5 Italian partner towns (Vignanello, Gallese, Vallerano, Canepina, Soriano nel Cimino) give the opportunity to the delegates to meet different local and regional authority, as well as a meeting with PA in Viterbo. A staff meeting allowed the set up of local volunteers teams and the agreement upon definitive timetable and themes for the next meeting. The title of the event was: "Exchange and collection of best practices in civic and democratic participation and in volunteering at Union level".
Event 2
Participation: The event involved 96 citizens, including 40 participants from the city of Onga (Hungary), 8 participants from the city of Deryneia (Cyprus), 2 participants from the city of Vignanello (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Soriano nel Cimino (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Canepina (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Gallese (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Il-Birgu (Malta), 3 participants from the city of Agia (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Jablonna (Poland), 3 participants from the city of Kelme (Lithuania), 3 participants from the city of San Cristovo de Cea (Spain), 3 participants from the city of Dobsice (Czech Republic), 3

Location / Dates: The event took place in Onga (Onga, Hungary), from 24/01/2019 to 28/11/2019
Short description: The objective of the project was to foster the debate on the Solidarity in times of crisis and to share best practices on solidarity at local level. Through informal activities the participants had the chance to confront about commonplaces,favouring intercultural dialogue and mutual comprehension,to avoid past opposition to solidarity at EU level. A meeting with former Hungarian MEP and civil servants in the EU Commission reached the objective to rise awareness on present and future risks represented by strong crisis hitting EU from inside and
outside. Another objective was to boost knowledge on the functioning of the EU and of the opportunities of civic engagement, in particular focusing on the European Citizens’ Initiative through a practical exercitation.
The participation of local citizens, in particular disadvantaged groups and those that reject the EU has been assured with the implementation of activities in a Roma center and during the Quintessence Palinka Festival in Lillafured.
The title of the event was: "European solidarity tissue in times of crisis: the EU policies in social and civic matters”
Event 3
Participation: The event involved 96 citizens, including 42 participants from the city of Il-Birgu (Malta), 8 participants from the city of Deryneia (Cyprus), 1 participants from the city of Vignanello (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Soriano nel Cimino (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Canepina (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Gallese (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Agia (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Jablonna (Poland), 3 participants from the city of Kelme (Lithuania), 3 participants from the city of San Cristovo de Cea (Spain), 3

Location / Dates: The event took place in Il-Birgu (Birgu, Malta), from 15/04/2019 to 19/04/2019
Short description: The aim of the event was to share information and true datas on Euroscepticism, boosting reflection on its causes and historical roots, to foster mutual understanding and to provide fact checking in a cooperative way. The delegates had the opportunity to share their point of view and analyze their local situation, presenting their actions to foster civic engagement and counter euroscepticism. Due to the closeness of the event
with the European Parliament’s Elections, the delegates were engaged in the building and implementation of a short campain to foster participation in the elections, through canvas and a flash mob in Birgu. The title of the event was: "Volunteering and civic engagement at EU level to oppose to the dangers of Euroscepticism"
Event 4
Participation: The event involved 94 citizens, including 44 participants from the city of Novo Mesto (Slovenia), 8 participants from the city of Deryneia (Cyprus), 3 participants from the city of Vignanello (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Il-Birgu (Malta), 2 participants from the city of Soriano nel Cimino (Italy), 1 participants from the city of Canepina (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Gallese (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Agia

Location / Dates: The event took place in Novo Mesto (Novo Mesto, Slovenia), from 03/10/2019 to 07/10/2019 Short description: The aim of the event was to foster debate on the impact of EU on daily lives and rise awareness and recognition on the role of volunteering at local and EU level. The event wanted to promote media literacy and fight fake news through practical exercitations on debunking, triggering reflection on the effects of propaganda on solidarity, cross border and local, and on civic participation. The delegates had the chance to show volunteering skills directly taking part as volunteers in the logistic organization of the Novo Mesto Marathon.
The title of the event was: “EU Solidarity against Euroscepticism: ideas and suggestions for a tighter-knight future of Europe”
Event 5
Participation: The event involved 100 citizens, including 43 participants from the city of Deryneia (Cyprus), 3 participants from the city of Vignanello (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Il-Birgu (Malta), 3 participants from the city of Soriano nel Cimino (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Canepina (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Gallese (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Agia (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Jablonna (Poland), 3 participants from the city of Kelme (Lithuania), 3 participants from the city of San Cristovo de Cea (Spain), 3 participants from the city of Dobsice (Czech Republic), 3 participants from the city of Onga (Hungary), 3 participants from the city of Vila Nova de Cerveira (Portugal), 3 participants from the PAR Institute Rjeka

Location / Dates: The event took place in Deryneia (Deryneia, Cyprus), from 20/05/2022 to 24/05/2022 Short description: The aim of the event was to give conclusion to the project and to gather citizens opinion on the future challenges for Solidarity, at local and cross-border level. The event was also the occasion for the partners to meet again after the Pandemic and to reflect on how the unexpected crisis affected the practices and
projects shared during the previous meeting. A debate also arose about the change of perspective and priorities for the future actions in the CERV Programme and some key themes have been pointed out for further
cooperation of the partnership. During the work a debate about the Ukrainian crisis naturally arose among the delegates. A guided visit to the Famagusta observatory allowed the delegates to be informed about the Cyprus occupation and to hear stories from the inhabitants of Deryneia that lost their land and houses following the war. The delagates had the chance to participate in the Strawberry Festival, organized by local volunteers, and take part in folkloristic workshops in the ethnographic museum.
